About the Role

Join Surgery Partners, Inc as a PRN Pharmacist – Flexible Availability in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols: monitors drug therapy regiments for contraindications, drug

drug interactions, drug

formulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic substitution protocols and promoting rational drug therapy selection.

Requirements

Interprets department policies and procedures to personnel, patients/family members, etc., as necessary; assists in cost containment development of the department within budgeted parameters.

Adheres to all Hospital Policies and Procedures, specifically Guidelines for Appropriate Conduct, Corporate Compliance, Diversity, and Confidentiality.

Applies the principles and values of customer service and continuous quality improvement while performing day
