Job DetailsJob Location: Tuscaloosa - Tuscaloosa, AL 35401Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Graduate DegreeGateway seeks a skilled, organized, energetic, customer service-oriented and committed professional for a Therapist position in our Intensive In-Home Services program. This position offers rewarding opportunities to be a game changer for children and families in a supportive learning environment that helps our staff develop their skills and abilities to the highest levels. Therapist will provide therapeutic intervention and skills based teaching to the families on their caseload. The mission of the Therapist in Gateway’s Intensive In-Home Services program is to provide intensive in-home therapy services to at risk families. The goal is to protect children while safely keeping families together. Therapy and services are provided in family homes, utilizing a highly successful teaching and coaching curriculum and evidence-based, trauma informed interventions. Gateway is Alabama’s leading provider of IIHS since we began this service in 1995.

Key Responsibilities
The Therapist will provide therapeutic intervention and skills-based teaching to families on their caseload within the Intensive In-Home Services program. The primary mission is to deliver intensive in-home therapy services to at-risk families with the goal of protecting children while safely maintaining family unity.
Requirements
A Master's degree in social work or counseling is required, along with possession or eligibility for LMSW or ALC credentials; LPC or LCSW is preferred. Candidates need one year of child welfare experience preferred, proficiency with EHR/Office software, and reliable transportation for in-home service delivery.
