Job Description
ChristianaCare’s Sleep Wellness Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team at the Christiana MAP2 clinic in Newark, Delaware.
Our collaborative, interdisciplinary team includes three physicians, one physician assistant, one nurse, and one psychologist, all committed to delivering exceptional sleep care. We are looking for a candidate with a strong interest in outpatient clinical care and a passion for teamwork.

Core Responsibilities
Patient Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive sleep-focused medical histories and physical examinations to assess state of wellness and compliance with existing care plans.
Sleep Study Management: Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, including polysomnograms (PSGs), home sleep apnea testing (HSAT), and nocturnal oxygen saturation monitoring.
Treatment Planning: Develop and adjust individualized medical care plans for disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy.
Therapeutic Management: Prescribe appropriate medical equipment (e. g., CPAP, BiPAP) and medications as allowed by state licensure.
Patient Education: Instruct patients and families on sleep hygiene, illness prevention, and the proper use of therapeutic devices.
Clinical Triage: Manage patient calls, evaluate acute problems, and coordinate follow-up care between physician visits.
Qualification Requirements
Must hold a valid DE license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Must be board certified (ANCC/AANP for NPs & NCCPA for PAs)
- Prescriptive Authority, DEA registration, BLS Required
A minimum of two years’ clinical experience preferred

Annual Compensation Range $112,554.00 - $139,477.00
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
