Position Summary

As a school speech language pathologist, you will

  • Conduct assessments and diagnose communication disorders
  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy
  • Develop and implement IEP goals
  • Monitor student progress and collect data
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited university with an M. A. or M. S. in Communication Disorders recognized by ASHA

  • ASHA CCC’s or CF
  • State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License
  • Teaching certificate (if applicable) or ability to obtain

Key Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to diagnose communication disorders and provide evidence-based speech and language therapy. Develop and implement IEP goals while collaborating with teachers, families, and other service providers.
