Provides specialized Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients in endocrine and diabetes clinics using the Nutrition Care Process. Responsibilities include mentoring new dietitians, applying evidence-based research, and managing nutrition care across the continuum.
Requires registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and state licensure or certification. A master's degree is required for graduates after January 1, 2024, and 2+ years of clinical experience is preferred.
