Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Technician assists patients with daily living activities and provides direct patient care and therapeutic interventions. They are also responsible for observing patient behavior, reporting changes to nursing staff, and performing crisis intervention to ensure unit safety.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a CNA license. Additionally, the role requires obtaining Basic Life Support (BLS) and Handle with Care (HWC) certifications within 45 days of hire.
