Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist develops and implements clinical pharmacy services while participating in multidisciplinary rounds to optimize drug therapy. They also provide education to medical staff, conduct medication use evaluations, and mentor pharmacy students.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a current Arizona pharmacist license, with pharmacy practice residency or equivalent clinical experience. A Doctor of Pharmacy degree and critical care residency are preferred.
