APP -PMHNP- Mental Health- ED

Key Responsibilities

The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide medication management, and respond to behavioral health emergencies within the emergency department. They will also serve as a clinical resource for staff education, crisis mitigation, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and hold a valid license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is preferred, along with current BLS certification.
