Key Responsibilities

The Peer Support Specialist provides individualized recovery-focused support and advocacy to individuals with mental health or substance use challenges. They work within an interdisciplinary team to integrate client preferences into treatment plans and facilitate community self-help activities.

Requirements

Candidates must hold Qualified Mental Health Professional status and Peer Support certification, along with a high school diploma or GED. At least one year of experience working with the supported population and a valid driver's license are required.
