The Psychiatrist will participate in the clinical aspects of patient care alongside the healthcare team and law enforcement, taking responsibility for the overall supervision of mental health services. This role involves guiding the delivery of mental health services specifically to the inmate population and functioning as a consultant to the Medical Director.
Candidates must be graduates from a national or state-approved school of nursing program and hold and maintain a current Psychiatry license in the state of employment. Required certifications include American Heart Association BLS and ACLS, with prior experience in corrections being advantageous.
