Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner provides direct patient care, including assessing follow-up patients, ordering diagnostic tests, and managing specialty medication refills. They are also responsible for managing physician inboxes and ensuring patient safety within an oncology setting.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a current California RN license, NP certification, and OCN certification. A minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an outpatient oncology setting is required.
