Key Responsibilities

• Teaching: To support teaching directly via interactions with Housestaff and non-physician professionals.

• Research: To support clinical research protocols in recruitment and adjunctive clinical management and to engage in scholarly activity.

• Learner: Participate in learning activity on inpatient consult services and ambulatory settings focused on exposure to clinical heart failure.

• Admissions.  To work collaboratively with Cardiology Attendings, Fellows,.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.

• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

• Clinical and Scholarly interest in a Career in Heart Failure.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Night or evening shifts may be required.
