Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs respiratory assessments and administers care procedures for patients across various age groups in acute and critical care settings. They work under the direction of the Pulmonary Services Leadership team to develop critical thinking skills and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree from a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program and possess a Wisconsin state license. Additional requirements include BLS certification, with ACLS and NRP certifications required within six months of hire.
