The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will assist in delivering individualized therapy based on treatment plans to improve patients' daily living skills. They are also responsible for monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree in an Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school. Additionally, they must possess current state licensure and certification through the NBCOT.
