Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Key Responsibilities

The COTA will assist in delivering individualized therapy based on treatment plans and monitor patient progress through accurate documentation. They will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and adaptive equipment.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree in an Occupational Therapy Assistant program and possess current COTA certification from the NBCOT. State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is also required.
