Join Northwell as a Social Worker – Psych, Per Diem in Town of Huntington, New York, United States. Shift Details Per diem (as needed) coverage. 1 Saturday, 1 Sunday shift on Psych unit per month, required.

Key Responsibilities
Provides direct social work services including psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and counseling to patients and their families. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to formulate safe treatment and discharge plans while advocating for patient access to healthcare.
Requirements
Requires a Master of Social Work degree and a current New York State license as an LMSW or LCSW. Candidates must have 1-3 years of relevant experience, with inpatient psychiatric experience being highly preferred.
