Job Description

- We are seeking a skilled NICU Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical pharmacy services to neonates in the NICU.
- Develop and maintain communication systems to ensure effective information flow among staff.
- Act as a mentor and educator for pharmacy students, staff, and residents.
- Identify opportunities for cost containment and improvements in clinical pharmacy services.
- Plan and manage resources to ensure continuity of care across various settings.
- Participate in clinical research to evaluate drug and regimen outcomes.
- Develop and implement utilization reviews and medication use assessments.
- PharmD degree with completion of a PGY2 residency in Pediatrics or Critical Care with NICU experience.
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in Texas.
- Proven NICU clinical pharmacy experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements
Requires a PharmD degree and completion of a PGY2 residency in Pediatrics or Critical Care with NICU experience. Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in Texas and possess proven clinical pharmacy experience.
