The Dean McGee Eye Institute (DMEI) and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center are seeking an Ophthalmology Hospitalist to join their growing academic team. The position is based at OU Health University Medical Center, Oklahoma’s only comprehensive academic hospital and Level I trauma center.

The role focuses on inpatient ophthalmic care, emergency department consultation, and management of urgent ocular conditions, with close collaboration across trauma, neurology, neurosurgery, internal medicine, and critical care.

OU Health offers the unique advantage of practicing within an academic setting that combines leading-edge clinical care with the resources of a major university health system. Physicians benefit from a collegial environment, strong interdisciplinary partnerships, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in a region where specialty access is essential.
