As a Hospitalist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive patient care and managing a diverse range of medical conditions. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to hospitalized patients
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to create effective treatment plans
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Manage chronic illnesses and acute care needs
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in medical records
• Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention
• Participate in on-call rotations as required
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• 1-3 years of hospitalist experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of hospital protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care

Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts

1:10 overnight call rotation

617-bed facility

Closed ICU

Average Daily Census: 250 patients

Average Daily Admits: 38 patients

Duties: Rounding and admits

No procedures required

Support Staff: APPs

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
