Summary

Join our team as a Respiratory Care Professional and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes by delivering high-quality, compassionate care across a variety of clinical settings.

In this role, you will provide the full spectrum of respiratory care services as prescribed by physicians, utilizing a wide range of modalities in alignment with established standards, protocols, and best practices. You will assess patient needs, administer treatments, monitor responses, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal respiratory function and overall patient well-being.

Compensation for This Role

• Base Hourly Rate: $31.76
• Geographical Differential: $6.93
• Total Hourly Rate: $38.69

Please note that the total hourly rate represents the potential compensation for this position. The final offer may vary based on an individual's qualifications, skills, and experience.

In addition to the starting hourly rate, the following shift differentials apply:

• $1.50/hour – Weekend Day Shift
• $1.75/hour – Weekday Evening Shift
• $3.00/hour – Weekend Evening Shift
• $2.00/hour – Weekday Night Shift
• $3.75/hour – Weekend Night Shift

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

License and Certification Requirements

1. License to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the State of New York; and

2. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); and

3. Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Education and Experience

Graduation from a Respiratory Therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).

Notes

1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title.

2. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
