As a Locum Hospitalist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient population. You will collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and participate in a range of clinical activities that align with our commitment to excellence in healthcare. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality inpatient care to hospitalized patients
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records
  • Participate in daily rounds and patient care conferences
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions effectively
  • Educate patients and families on health management and wellness
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to medical staff as required

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Valid medical license in the state of practice
  • Experience in hospital medicine or a related field
  • Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications

Schedule: 7a-7p

Duties: Round on ICU patients, follow own patients here

No procedures

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified

Paid travel and expenses
