UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. Well established Hospitalist program since 2006, currently includes 20 physician & 4 APP's

Care team support that includes 5 dedicated hospitalist RNs for care coordination and rounding efficiency + 1 Diabetes Management CDCES RN

Shifts available

  • Day shift 7a-7p
  • Night shift 7p-7a
  • PM Swing shift 2p-12a
  • PRN - minimum of 6 shifts/year
  • Excellent multi-specialty and procedural support
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
  • Open ICU with intensivist availability to consult

Responsibilities

  • Admitting/Rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years of age and older (adult)
  • Shifts available: Day shift rounding and swing shift; Night admitting and swing shift

Qualifications

MD or DO

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; Must be board certified within year of employment

Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice

Eligible to work in the United States
