Crisis Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The Crisis Care Therapist provides therapeutic services to individuals, families, or groups to alleviate or stabilize mental health symptoms impacting stability and community integration. Key duties include providing crisis intervention response, conducting safety assessments with a 90-minute ETA, and offering in-home services as required by the program plan.

Requirements

A Master's degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling, or a related field is required, and the candidate must be license eligible, preferably with one year of related experience. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain acceptable driving records and insurance coverage.
