The Paramedic collaborates with the healthcare team, utilizing assessment skills to gather patient status information. They apply delegated knowledge and skills to prevent or mitigate physiological complications associated with specific health problems or medical treatments.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Paramedic Program and possess a required Michigan Paramedic License upon hire. A minimum of two years of Paramedic experience is required, with three or more years preferred, and AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required within 90 days.
