Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker

Your role at St John of God Langmore Hospital We are looking for an experienced registered psychologist with General AHPRA registration, or an experienced social worker with mental health accreditations with AASW to join our supportive and collaborative team. In this role, you will be based in our specialised outpatient clinic for emergency services and defence personnel, providing one-on-one evidence‑based, short‑term interventions.

The position is salaried and structured around a 7.5‑hour workday, with a caseload of five clients per day. You will have flexibility in how you structure your appointment schedule and will be supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team. There are also opportunities to work across a range of services, including our inpatient group program and outpatient day program. This is a permanent part-time and hours are negotiable for the suitable candidate.

Contributes to the design and implementation You will have Tertiary Qualification of Psychology with General Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA. To succeed you will have experience/ability to provide group programs and individual therapy using CBT, DBT, Schema-Focused Therapy and/or ACT modalities to child, adolescent and adult clients presenting with a myriad of concerns.
