Orientation Duration
One day required.
Coverage Preference
Full-time weekdays preferred (Monday–Friday), typically aligned with operational hours from approximately 8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m.
Patient Engagement
Target of around 36 patient-facing clinic hours per week, supplemented by necessary administrative and in-basket management time.
Clinical Volume Expectations
Performance Metrics
Minimum target of ≥2.0 completed visits per clinic hour. Scheduling should ensure a baseline of 2.0 completed visits/hour, with a maximum appointment length generally capped at 30 minutes.
Clinical Support Structure
Support Staff
Each provider will generally collaborate with one Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), along with access to additional clinic support services including referral teams, prior authorization teams, and RN navigators.
Technological Proficiency
EMR & Dictation Systems
Proficient in EPIC and Dragon for dictation.
Qualifications
Required Credentials
Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and an active Michigan medical license (or IMLC eligibility).
Experience Verification
New Graduates
Must provide a residency training log documenting clinical experiences from the last 12 months.
Other Applicants
Must demonstrate care provision for a minimum of 10 adult inpatients/outpatients within the past 12 months.
Licensure Considerations
IMLC Status
Applications that are eligible for IMLC will be considered.
