Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - CV Surgery Heart/Lung Transplant

Key Responsibilities

The NP/PA hospitalist will provide 24/7 coverage for recently transplanted heart and lung patients, readmitted transplant patients, and cross-cover post-cardiac surgery patients, requiring timely assessments and management of acute and chronic conditions. A crucial part of the role involves patient and family education regarding recovery and disease processes within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Requirements

Candidates must be a Master's or Doctorate prepared graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current Minnesota RN license and ACNP/ANP certification eligibility, or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification and Minnesota registration. DEA registration is required, and previous inpatient graduate rotations are a minimum requirement.
