Key Responsibilities
The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, performing clinical calculations, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws in a long-term care setting. They also conduct medication regimen reviews, oversee IV compounding, and provide clinical consulting services to facilities.
Licensure & Certifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy and possess a current Michigan Pharmacist License. Additionally, Michigan Immunization and CPR certifications are required, with GCP certification strongly recommended.
