The Respiratory Therapist performs clinical activities including the assessment, treatment, and education of patients with respiratory issues. They also contribute to quality improvement efforts and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Respiratory Care program and hold a current Connecticut Respiratory Care Practitioner license. NBRC Registry examination eligibility is required, with NBRC registration and a Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
