Job Description
Olympic Medical Physicians’ Walk-In Clinics are located in Port Angeles and Sequim, on Washington State’s beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. The OMP Walk-In Clinics provided primary-care level immediate access to patients of all ages. The clinics are open 365 days a year. We have an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collegial team.
This Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) position is outpatient with no call. Rotating coverage of weekends and holidays is expected. In collaboration with our Walk-In Clinic physicians, the successful OMP Walk-In Clinic Advanced Practice Clinician is focused on providing excellent person-centered care to patients as part of a multi-specialty rural healthcare system.
This position is eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, pending individual eligibility requirements.
Education
- Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by WA State
- OR
- Master of Science in Nursing, Masters of Nursing, or equivalent Nurse Practitioner Degree
Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.
Experience
- 2 years prior experience preferred as an Advanced Practice Clinician preferred, but not required.
- LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS
Current Washington State RN Licensure and current Washington State ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington State
- OR
- Current Washington State PA-C licensure and prescriptive authority
- Maintains current DEA registration.
- Maintains current BLS certification.
- Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff.
