About the Role

Join Opelousas General Health System as a Physician - Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and consultations for children and adolescents.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and integrated therapeutic approaches.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of social workers, psychologists, and pediatricians to ensure holistic patient care.

Participate in the strategic planning and eventual launch of the Inpatient C&A service line. Academic & Faculty Leadership

Requirements

Provide direct clinical supervision and mentorship to residents and fellows during their C&A rotations.

Develop and deliver didactic lectures on child development, pediatric psychopharmacology, and adolescent pathology.

Engage in scholarly activity, including clinical research, quality improvement projects, or curriculum development. Qualifications

Education: MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine.
