Join Opelousas General Health System as a Physician - Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and consultations for children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and integrated therapeutic approaches.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of social workers, psychologists, and pediatricians to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in the strategic planning and eventual launch of the Inpatient C&A service line. Academic & Faculty Leadership
Requirements
- Provide direct clinical supervision and mentorship to residents and fellows during their C&A rotations.
- Develop and deliver didactic lectures on child development, pediatric psychopharmacology, and adolescent pathology.
- Engage in scholarly activity, including clinical research, quality improvement projects, or curriculum development. Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine.
