About the Role

Join Medical Faculty Associates, Inc. as a License Social Worker in United States. Licensed Social Worker providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a medical setting. Key Responsibilities

Conducts initial and ongoing comprehensive psychosocial assessments in order address the clinical needs of Cancer Center patients and their family members.

Provide individual, couple, and family therapy. Clinical services include individual, couple, and family therapies with psychiatric outpatient assessments.

Development of a care plan with patient and family based on mutually agreed upon goals to enhance, maintain and promote optimal psychosocial functioning throughout cancer treatment and its outcome.

Collaboration with other professional disciplines in the planning and provision of timely and efficient clinical services to cancer patients and their families.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Social Work. OSW

C preferred or obtained within 2 years of hire. Licensure

Current active social work license in the District of Columbia (LMSW or LCSW). Experience

Minimum of 1 year of medical social work experience within a cancer care or specialty outpatient setting. Physical Requirements
