About the Role

Join Medical Faculty Associates, Inc. as a License Social Worker in United States. Licensed Social Worker providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a medical setting. Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts initial and ongoing comprehensive psychosocial assessments in order address the clinical needs of Cancer Center patients and their family members.
  • Provide individual, couple, and family therapy. Clinical services include individual, couple, and family therapies with psychiatric outpatient assessments.
  • Development of a care plan with patient and family based on mutually agreed upon goals to enhance, maintain and promote optimal psychosocial functioning throughout cancer treatment and its outcome.
  • Collaboration with other professional disciplines in the planning and provision of timely and efficient clinical services to cancer patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work. OSW
  • C preferred or obtained within 2 years of hire. Licensure
  • Current active social work license in the District of Columbia (LMSW or LCSW). Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical social work experience within a cancer care or specialty outpatient setting. Physical Requirements
