Job Description
Part Time (40 Hours/Biweekly)
Shift: Day/Evening/Nights
Position Function: Under the direction of the Diagnostic Supervisor, uses
stationary or portable imaging modalities in providing patient imaging
services. Insures patient positioning and preparation of facilities, equipment
and supplies for patient services. Transfers patients between wheelchairs,
stretchers, exam tables and patient units. Duties include bone densitometry, as
well as all general radiographic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Operates stationary and portable imaging modalities to provide patient imaging services under the direction of a supervisor. Responsibilities include patient positioning, facility preparation, and performing bone densitometry and general radiographic procedures.
Requirements
Must be a graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology school and registered by the ARRT. Current CPR/AED certification is required, and one year of experience as a staff technologist is preferred.
