About the Role
Join Liberation Programs Inc. as a Substance Use Counselor – Families in Recovery, Norwalk in United States. Who we are: Families in Recovery (FIRP) is an inpatient program in Norwalk, CT for pregnant and parenting women with children. FIRP has been in existence since 1994 and is unique in our region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide culturally competent, engaging counseling services, focused on helping individuals recover.
- Connect individuals with wraparound support services in the community
- Provide a full
- range of supportive SUD services including brief individual counseling, intensive counseling, care coordination, and consultations to support strength
Requirements
- CT State licensure preferred, as an LCSW, LADC, LPC or LMFT.
- Prefer experience providing evidenced
- based SUD services in an inpatient or outpatient setting based on program of interest, including trauma
- sensitive therapeutic interventions and Medicated Assisted Recovery
