Licensed Psychologist – Clinical Supervisor

Position Overview
Interdynamics, Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Licensed Psychologist – Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, supervision, quality assurance, and professional development across our psychological assessment and therapeutic service programs.
This is an opportunity for a seasoned psychologist to play a key role in advancing clinical excellence across school-based programs and our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC). The Clinical Supervisor will provide professional oversight to psychology associates and psychometrists, support the delivery of high-quality psychological assessments and therapeutic services, and help ensure that clinical practices meet applicable ethical, professional, cultural, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative clinical leader with strong expertise in psychological assessment, diagnostic formulation, clinical documentation, and staff development, as well as a demonstrated commitment to serving culturally and clinically diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Supervision & Leadership
- Provide licensed clinical supervision to Psychology Associates, Psychometrists, and other applicable clinical/assessment staff.
- Establish clear clinical expectations and provide ongoing feedback, consultation, and professional guidance.
- Ensure supervision practices, documentation, and professional development activities align with applicable Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists requirements.
- Promote ethical, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based clinical practice.
- Consult with clinicians regarding complex clinical presentations, diagnostic questions, treatment planning, and risk management.
- Support the development of a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous clinical improvement.
Psychological Assessment & Quality Assurance
- Provide clinical oversight of psychological assessment services across Interdynamics programs.
- Review and provide guidance regarding psychological testing, interpretation, diagnostic formulation, and written reports.
- Ensure assessment practices reflect appropriate professional standards and the individual's presenting needs.
- Monitor the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and clinical integrity of psychological evaluation reports.
- Support clinicians in selecting and appropriately utilizing standardized psychological assessment instruments.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and identify opportunities to strengthen clinical processes and outcomes.
Training & Professional Development
Develop and deliver training, consultation, and professional development in areas including:
- Psychological testing, assessment, and interpretation
- Diagnostic formulation and differential diagnosis
- Evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Clinical documentation and professional report writing
- Ethical decision-making and professional boundaries
- Risk assessment and clinical risk management
- Culturally responsive and trauma-informed care
- Best practices in school-based and outpatient behavioral health services
Collaboration & Consultation
- Collaborate effectively with clinicians, educators, administrators, families, community partners, and other stakeholders.
- Provide consultation regarding complex clinical and behavioral health concerns.
- Support communication and coordination among multidisciplinary teams.
- Promote culturally responsive approaches to assessment and treatment.
- Contribute to the continued development and enhancement of Interdynamics' behavioral health programs and clinical services.
Forensic & Court-Related Services
- Provide consultation regarding forensic or court-related psychological assessment matters, as appropriate.
- Apply sound clinical judgment and professional standards when psychological services intersect with legal or court-related systems.
- Experience with forensic assessment, court evaluations, or related documentation is highly desirable.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Neuropsychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted license as a Psychologist in the State of Maryland.
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision to psychology associates, psychometrists, trainees, or assessment staff.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in psychological assessment, testing, interpretation, and diagnostic formulation.
- Strong clinical report-writing and documentation skills.
- Experience working with culturally, clinically, and socioeconomically diverse populations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, consultation, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of professional ethics, clinical risk management, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
Preferred
- Experience providing psychological services in school-based and/or outpatient mental health settings.
- Expertise in psychological assessment and neuropsychological assessment.
- Experience with forensic, court-related, or other specialized psychological evaluations.
- Experience developing and delivering professional trainings.
- Experience with quality assurance, clinical program development, or behavioral health leadership.
- Familiarity with Maryland behavioral health regulations and documentation requirements.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and/or families across diverse clinical settings.

Requirements
