Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Ada, Oklahoma. This position supports patients with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders within a 159-bed acute-care hospital serving Ada, Pontotoc County and the surrounding south-central Oklahoma communities.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans of care and deliver evidence-based interventions across diverse patient populations. This role works collaboratively with patients, families and the broader care team to support patient progress, education, discharge planning and positive clinical outcomes.

Position Overview

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs
  • Implement evidence-based speech-language pathology interventions
  • Collaborate with patients and families throughout treatment
  • Document and communicate patient progress
  • Adjust treatment plans based on patient response and progress
  • Provide patient and family education and counseling to support outcomes
  • Assist with discharge planning
  • Supervise clinical fellows, students and support personnel in accordance with professional standards

Requirements

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology REQUIRED
  • Licensed Speech Therapist with current licensure through the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology REQUIRED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire REQUIRED
  • Ability to work onsite in Ada, Oklahoma REQUIRED

  • Prior experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist Preferred
