Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains open consulting relationship with the physician to ensure delivery of the most effective medical care.
  • Maintain referral base of specialists to provide services for our patient base as needed.
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and agency standards.
  • Provide training and orientation for new clinical providers.
  • Participate in quality management studies.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Must have proven skills in working independently, self-motivated, goal oriented, strong initiative, and be a self-starter.
  • Education: Master level nursing degree
  • Licensed Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Provide ongoing guidance and supervision of medical care of patients to other clinical providers.
  • Proficiency with data entry (including familiarity with electronic health record systems).

Work Schedule

  • Must be willing to work at any HSNT location, other than assigned site and be agreeable to work weekends, as responsibilities may dictate.
  • May be required to work alternative schedules.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position such as standing or sitting for up to 8 hours per day.
