Part-Time Maternal Health Registered Nurse

About the Role

This part-time Registered Nurse position focuses on maternal health, serving expectant and new parents in Baltimore, Maryland. The role bridges clinical care and community support, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct telemedicine visits during prenatal and postpartum periods.
• Lead group classes on childbirth preparation and developmental milestones.
• Provide in-home assessments post-NICU discharge.
• Monitor maternal warning signs and escalate care as needed.
• Liaise with obstetrics and primary care providers.
• Train Maternity Navigators on prenatal and postpartum topics.
• Participate in care team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Active RN licenses in Washington, D. C. and Maryland (DC plus compact license preferred).
• Based in Baltimore or Washington, D. C. area with up to 50% travel.
• Minimum 5 years prenatal/postpartum care experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with documentation systems.
• Preferred BSN/MSN, start-up experience, Spanish or Amharic proficiency.
