Physician (Abortion Services)

About the Role

Join Planned Parenthood of Michigan as a full-time Physician specializing in abortion services and contraceptive care. Practice in outpatient affiliate health centers and via telehealth in Southeast Michigan (Ann Arbor & Flint).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide procedural and medication abortion care including ultrasound and sedation.
• Manage miscarriage and early pregnancy complications.
• Prescribe and perform contraceptive services including LARC.
• Collaborate with health center and telehealth staff.
• Participate in education, training, and quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• MD or DO with active Michigan license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Commitment to Planned Parenthood’s mission and values.
• Preferred: Board certification and experience in GAHT and vasectomy.
