Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner provides a broad range of services, including assessment, diagnosis, management, and treatment of acute and chronic breast conditions, while working interdependently with other healthcare providers. Responsibilities also involve interpreting diagnostic imagery and pathology collaboratively, performing necessary procedures, and providing patient and family education and support.

Requirements

Candidates must possess the ability to adhere to established protocols and demonstrate competence in handling emergencies within a busy, complex environment, requiring strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Required qualifications include completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program, current NJ state NP license, CPR certification, and DEA/CDS licensure in NJ, with two to four years of related experience preferred.
