Join Kern Medical as a Pharmacist – Inpatient Pharmacy, Per Diem in United States. Kern Medical has been a community cornerstone since its founding in 1867. Today, we are an acute care teaching center with 222 beds, offering the only advanced trauma care between Fresno and Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities

• related to the work of pharmacy practice, as assigned.

• Employment Standards: Graduation from a recognized school of Pharmacy.

• Possession of a valid license to practice Pharmacy issued by the California Board of Pharmacy and fulfillment of the continuing education.

Requirements

• Must be willing and available to work four (4) shifts per six (6) week scheduling period. Position: Pharmacist

• Per Diem Distinguishing Characteristics: This classification is the fully licensed level of professional pharmacy practice. Essential Functions:

• Compounds, prepares, mixes, manufactures and dispenses drugs, devices and biologicals for inpatient and ambulatory patients.

• Reviews drug orders and prescriptions for therapeutic propriety.

• Per Diem position.
