The Speech-Language Pathologist Contractor screens, assesses, and treats students with communication problems affecting classroom activities, social interaction, literacy, and learning, focusing on individual needs defined by the IEP. Responsibilities include case management, ensuring IEP services are met, communicating with stakeholders, and potentially supervising Speech-Language Assistants.
Required qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field, along with three years of speech/language work experience in a public-school setting, or an equivalent combination. Candidates must be able to work independently for at least 20 hours per week during typical school hours and possess state licensure and ASHA SLP CCC.
