Job Description
An established healthcare system located near Sumter, South Carolina is seeking full-time, permanent Physical Therapist Assistants to join their team!
The Physical Therapist Assistant Job Opportunity
- Full-time, direct hire opportunity
- Mon-Fri schedule, day shift
- Outpatient setting
- Great therapy leadership and administration team!
Works under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and carries out the treatment program established by the therapist. They perform a wide variety of treatment procedures to patients with different disabilities, injuries and diseases. Physical Therapy serves both inpatient and outpatient populations. A team of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehab Aides collaborate to offer general, pediatric and aquatic therapy treatment.
The Physical Therapist Assistant Minimum Qualifications
- Must have completed a formal accredited physical therapy assistant associate’s degree program
- A current SC PTA certification is required
BLS Certification Required
Previous experience is desired but not required, new grads welcome to apply!

The Physical Therapist Assistant carries out treatment programs established by a Physical Therapist for patients with various disabilities and injuries. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide general, pediatric, and aquatic therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Requirements
Candidates must have completed an accredited physical therapy assistant associate's degree program and hold a current SC PTA certification. BLS certification is required, though previous experience is optional as new graduates are welcome.
