Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant carries out treatment programs established by a Physical Therapist for patients with various disabilities and injuries. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide general, pediatric, and aquatic therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Licensure & Certifications

Candidates must have completed an accredited physical therapy assistant associate's degree program and hold a current SC PTA certification. BLS certification is required, though previous experience is optional as new graduates are welcome.
