Job Description
Healthcare United is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join a growing, multidisciplinary spine, pain, and neuroscience practice in Northeast Florida. This opportunity offers a collaborative environment with strong referral support, established patient volume, and access to a comprehensive care team including pain management specialists, physical therapists, and diagnostic services.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality neurological care, possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills, and thrive in a patient-centered setting. This position provides the opportunity to manage a diverse neurological patient population while working alongside experienced providers dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
- Diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and nervous system
- Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations, including history, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing management of neurological conditions
- Order and interpret neurological testing, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions appropriate for neurological disorders
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
- Collaborate with pain management, spine, orthopedic, and rehabilitation specialists to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care strategies
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in neurology and neuroscience care
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for or currently holding an active Florida medical license
- Experience managing neurological and neuromuscular disorders preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Knowledge of current neurological treatment protocols and technologies
