About the Role

Join Bowery Residents' Committee as a Field Based Social Worker - Substance Abuse Service Center in United States. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in and lead in a two-person team with the Field Based Peer Specialist. Work collaboratively with shelter staff to address the needs of clients with substance use disorders in the shelter system.

Key Responsibilities

  • week 37.5 hours per week
  • 4 full days in field
  • 1 full day in office
  • 5 hours per week * Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm * 4 full days in field * 1 full day in office

Requirements

  • MSW or CASAC required.
  • LMSW or LMSW license preferred.
  • CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR/First Aid/Narcan.
  • Basic computer literacy required.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • No weekends required.
