Physical Therapist Assistant

Join Community Action Corporation of South Texas as a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant – Home-Based in Texas. General Summary Responsible to assist in the practice of physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. Typically, therapy will be provided in the child’s natural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Exhibit a positive professional attitude with supervisors, co-workers, children, and community.

• 2. Maintain confidentiality of all children and employee related information.

• 3. Exercise sound judgment and provide appropriate care in the performance of duties.

• 4. Assist in delivering the treatment plan after the child has been evaluated and the treatment plan has been developed by the physical therapist and approved by the IFSP/IEP team.

Requirements

• The candidate must pass a pre-employment physical.

• Skills Proficiency in computer and Microsoft Office programs.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.
