Job Description

Meisels Animal Hospital, a CareVet partner, is seeking a dynamic Veterinarian to be part of a collaborative and tenured team in Elmwood Park, NJ! This position offers full-time benefits for part-time hours, meaning you can manage your schedule knowing CareVet has you covered.

About the Position

This is the perfect opportunity for a Veterinarian to be part of a team working in a family-like atmosphere. Ideally, this candidate will have surgical skills and a desire to make a difference in a community whose mission is to consistently provide authentic care by compassionately serving as a unified team in harmony with our clients.

About the Hospital

We are committed to practicing high quality, progressive, individualized medical care for our patients. We provide you with the tools to help your patients through industry-leading medical and diagnostic capabilities.

Meisels Animal Hospital, a long-standing pillar of the Elmwood Park community, is a fully renovated, 4,000 square foot facility located a short drive from NYC! The veterinarians and staff at Meisels Animal Hospital have provided the best quality care to patients in the Elmwood Park area since its founding in 1946.

Currently a two-veterinarian practice with a highly skilled and stable staff, Meisels has an immediate need for an additional veterinarian, due to the planned retirement of our current Medical Director in late 2022.

At Meisels Animal Hospital, it’s not just about providing excellent veterinary care; it’s about giving back to the community that has given so much to us! Meisels Animal Hospital offers a unique blend of state-of-the-art equipment and services, but with a “home-like” feel that is appreciated by clients and staff alike.

Our staff works amazingly well together, and we enjoy each other's company while at work. Veterinary medicine is stressful, and we take our jobs seriously, but we try to have fun every day. Sense of humor, a patient-centered approach and excellent interpersonal skills are required.
