Key Responsibilities
The Registered Respiratory Therapist identifies and implements physician-directed respiratory care interventions for patients ranging from neonates to adults. They work cooperatively with nursing and other healthcare team members to provide professional respiratory care in clinical and ambulatory settings.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy and possess an active NBRC RRT credential and state license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required at the time of hire.
