About the Role

Join McGregor Foundation as a Hospice Medical Social Worker in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Performs initial screening and evaluation of the psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual status of patients and families/caregivers related to the patient’s terminal illness and environment.

Documents assessments, visits, telephone contacts, referral actions and social service interventions in the medical record clearly and concisely in a timely manner.

Provides short term crisis intervention and individual or family counseling when indicated. Utilizes de

escalation techniques as appropriate. Required to be on call and available twenty

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program, with one year of experience preferred.
