The Surgical Physician Assistant provides comprehensive medical services in OBGYN, including performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. They also serve as a first assistant in the operating room and provide pre- and post-operative care for patients.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current New York State registration. One year of OB/GYN experience is highly preferred, along with NCCPA certification and BLS certification.
